This is a tough match to predict. Two teams from the capital cities will fight for a spot in the quarter final of the Champions League. The Londoners Chelsea will host the Parisiens PSG tonight.
Since the departure of Mourinho, Guus Hiddink have done incredible job in raising Chelsea back as a european powerhouse of football. Perhaps they have lost the chance to win the Premier League, but they are still pretty much alive in UCL. They were beaten 1-2 in Paris with a goal advantage. A 1-0 win tonight will see them through to the next level of Champions League.
PSG, however, are the toughest team in French Ligue 1, leading 23 points over second place AS Monaco. Manager Laurent Blanc doesn’t have as much experience as Hiddink, but his team have one of the best forward line ups in Europe.
I’m with PSG. This team are strong enough to beat Chelsea. And they don’t have any crisis troubling them troughout the season. It won’t be easy, I know. Chelsea are a strong team and they have a goal advantage.
Meanwhile, there are no surprises in last night games. Most of us know that Wolfsburg would be the first out of two German teams to the quarter final, and Real Madrid are the first out of three Spanish teams going through to QF.
