Atletico Madrid Reach the Quarter-Finals

Atletico Madrid could not break PSV Eindhoven’s defence lines in two legs times. So the winners have to be decided by penalty shootouts. Atletico won 8-7, meaning both teams are just equally good in taking penalties. The Rojiblancos have met their match and they were lucky to finally win the tie.

images-10.jpg.jpeg┬áDiego Simeone’s team are the second Spanish football team to reach the Champions League Quarter-Finals this season. Real Madrid was the first, after knocking down AS Roma last week, and Barcelona will host Arsenal tonight.
Should Barca beat Arsenal, Spain would be the only country to have three teams in Champions League Quarter-Finals. I just hope they’re not going to face each other on the road to semi-finals. Because that would be sucks.
