Who are Left in Europa League?

unnamed.png

There are three teams who I believe have miraculously made their way to Europa League quarter-finals.

Villarreal, a La Liga team who knocked down Bayer Leverkusen from German’s Bundesliga. Sparta Prague, a Czech Republic team who beat SS Lazio from Italian Serie A. And Borussia Dortmund who trashed the on-fire Tottenham Hotspur.
Dortmund are, off course, Champions League regulars who are condemned to Europa League for their poor position in Bundesliga last season. But today they have shown that their strength are back. By beating Spurs, the Germans look stronger than the rest of the Europa League competitors. They even look stronger than the Europa League’s regular champions Sevilla.
I would love to see Dortmund beat their former manager Juergen Klopp, who are now with Liverpool, before eventually meet Sevilla in the final.

Spanish teams:
• Sevilla ✔
Valencia
• Villarreal ✔
• Athletic Bilbao ✔

English teams:
• Liverpool ✔
Manchester United
Tottenham Hotspur

German teams:
• Borussia Dortmund ✔
Bayer Leverkusen

Italian team:
SS Lazio

Czech Republic team:
• Sparta Prague ✔

Portugal team:
• SC Braga ✔

Ukraine team:
• Shakhtar Donetsk ✔

Switzerland team:
FC Basel

Belgium team:
Anderlecht

Turkey team:
Fenerbahce

All Italian teams have failed to go to the quarter-finals in all European football competition. FC Basel, the host for Europa League grand final this season, have also failed to go to the next stage.

How are your team so far, Mates?
