International Break part 2: French Football So Far

Though AS Monaco managed to beat league leaders Paris Saint Germain at their own backyard last night, it means nothing because PSG have already clinched the French Ligue 1 title last week with 8 games to spare. Monaco, 2nd in the league, closed the gap to 22 points with, now, 7 games to go.

PSG are the only French football team in European competition. They have their sight on Manchester City who are their next opponents in Champions League quarters.

PSG are also still playing in the French Cup, and they will face Lorient in the semis.

With all the superstars they have at their disposal, I believe they are looking for the treble. Ligue 1 is down, two titles to go. We will see their performances again after the international break.
