I’m a football fan since 1986. Diego Maradona has made me falling in love with this beautiful game by winning the World Cup in Mexico at the time.
I’ve become an Argentina fan up until today. I was a Napoli fan until early 90s, a Fiorentina fan until late 90s. Then I didn’t have favourite team until Frank Rijkaard took over Barcelona in 2003. Can you see any relation between this teams? 😉
Rijkaard made me love Barca because he put this 16 year old boy into the first team. You know this boy, of course. ☺
This Argentinian boy couldn’t have many chance to play anyway because Barca already had three non EU players as regular starters. They were; centre back Rafael Marquez (Mexico), playmaker Ronaldinho (Brazil), and striker Samuel Eto’o (Cameroon).
Well these three players aren’t there anymore. The boy is now a regular starter.
So let us talk about football.
