After beating Holland away from home, the hosts of Euro 2016 France won again against Russia. N’Golo Kante of Leicester celebrated his 25th birthday with a goal in 8th minute. It was the first goal of the game. And Griezmann assisted him for the goal.
Kante’s fellow Premier League football player, Dimitri Payet of West Ham scored the third goal for France in 64th minute, as he turned 29 years old on the day. The final result was 4-2 for France.
In other game, world champions Germany are back in business by demolishing fellows four times world champions Italy 4-1, after being beaten by England a few days earlier.
The international break will be over this weekend. Players are already going back to their respective clubs to continue their clubs remaining fixtures until the end of the season.
